Aaron Gordon began Optic Sky in 2014, at age 22, based on the conviction that Western NY could provide world-class commercial film, advertising, and digital experiences on a national scale.

Since then, he has built a global, multidisciplinary in-house team of award-winning directors, digital artists, storytellers, producers, and creative technologists, and has developed true partnerships with brands and agencies across the world.  

The current Optic Sky portfolio includes household brands such as Google, Zillow, Amazon, Snapchat, and Wegmans, game-changing tech startups like Zeplin and Datto, and globally-recognized creative agencies. The work has brought in countless accolades and mentions from the American Advertising Awards, Webby Awards, and One Show and has accumulated hundreds of millions of views.
As a drummer, Aaron believes there’s rhythm, flow, and momentum to everything and that it can be harnessed to guide insights and creativity. He strongly believes that the foundation of true growth will always lie in an incredible team effort.
